Fancy Gift Bags

Hi,
Hope you are all enjoying the nice weather.
Just thought I would show you new line I am currently developing. Rather than the run of the mill gift bags that you can buy I thought I would make a range of bags in different sizes for all occasions. I will have a selection available at my next craft fair for Weddings and Birthdays but then I will be concentrating on Christmas lines.

Well, it's been a while since my last post so I thought I had better give you all an update. Just where does the time go.
My big news is I now have an account with Kanban, I have always loved their products and the quality and originality is second to none. Hopefully the web site will soon be showing the new products. I have also finally got some card inserts. I have been asked for these so many times but not managed to find any that are of the quality I was happy with.
I have made a couple of cards using the "Zen Garden" pack that I hope you like.
For next Thursdays class I thought as a follow on from the stamping we did a few weeks ago we would carry on the theme and use different colouring mediums to get the most out of your stamped images.

Good News

I am so happy today, Andy has had his last hospital appointment today and everything is as it should be, after a horrid 8 months he can start getting his life back together again. (Still can't do the hoovering though). So no more 140 mile round trips to the hospital.
I have put a couple of tag cards on as this style is what I will be demonstrating next Thursday. These can be made easily but look effective.
I also had the unfortunate task of having to make a sympathy card for my Mum in Law. The subject matter is always the most difficult part to do I think but I was quite pleased with the result.I have a christian text stamp that I stamped and embossed in gold and then just used a small decoupaged lily for the embellishment.
I apologise for you not being able to enlarge the images. I am working on this but not getting very far. I will persevere though and hopefully it shouldn't be too long before you can see the pictures better.

What a Surprise.

Hello,
I just had to share my experience on the beach with the dogs this morning.
Having been in a world of my own listing to my MP3 player and throwing the ball for the dogs I looked up to come across a huge grey seal about 8 feet away from me on the shore line.I assumed it was dead as we do get a few washed up on the beach. The seal was about 4-5 feet in length.Bruce and Ellie started heading towards it so I called them back to me, Ellie came but Bruce decided to investigate further.
The seal then turned it's head towards us so I now knew it was in fact very much alive. I don't know who was more surprised, Bruce or the seal. Anyway, it turned very quickly and shot into the sea, Bruce decided not to follow as he is a bit of a wuss in the water. The seal leapt and dived into the sea and then came back up again and started swimming along the shore line diving into the sea and popping up again.
What a lovely start to the day. I feel very blessed to have been so close and witness such a lovely sight.

Acetate Cards for Thursday 20th May.

Hello,
Just though I would give a heads up on our class for the 20th of May. I came up with this idea for using acetate on a card after seeing a shop bought one with acetate on.
I think it looks a bit different and is very easy to achieve.
I hope you like some of the samples I have made.

Todays dog walk.

Hello,
Took the dogs out this morning wrapped up like Nanooka The North complete with hat and gloves. After about 15 minutes I realised this was not quite the right attire. Stuffed my gloves and woolly hat into my pockets instantly making me look three sizes bigger, took off my coat and tied it round my waist. (Not an easy task whilst trying to hold onto two dogs, they did however sit for me bless them) I was Still wearing my thick fleece and t.shirt plus walking boots and socks. A tad cooler now.our walk took so much longer today due to all the baggage I was carrying rather than wearing.
